3D free-form design technique
Our engineers and technicians since the late 1990s have already been active in 3D digitisation, 3D reverse engineering, 3D design as well as in quality assurance (target-actual comparison):
- Reverse engineering & reverse modelling (applied SCYTEQ strategy for linking geometric data and material information with functional and technological data, generation of complex non-parametric, semi- or fully parametric solid models taking into account design-based dependencies including documentation);
- Hybrid modelling (combination of classical design methods with those of free-form surface reconstruction and modelling)
- Creation of STL models for further processing CAD/CAM
- Technical illustration (3D visualisation, photorealistic rendering, motion animation, exploded views)
- Work areas and workstations: Tebis® V3.5 R2, Tebis® BREP, Rapidform® XO-S / XO-V / XO-R (Inus Technology®), Siemens® NX7® (Unigraphics® UG), SolidWorks® (Dassault Systèmes®), Autodesk® Inventor®
