Generative manufacturing
technology
In our "Rapid Prototyping Manufacture", we produce in a very short time high-precision single colour and multi-colour prototypes, initial samples and replicas as unique pieces or in small batches:
- 3D printing in composite material (layer-by-layer printing of about 0.07 mm thick layers by injecting binding fluids into powdered gypsum material; Optional colouring (single or multi-coloured) by simultaneous injection of special colours; installation spaces of 250 x 200 x 125 mm up to 254 x 381 x 203 mm; resolution up to 600 x 540 dpi; surface hardening by application of epoxy and curing, finishing by applying wax, polishing and/or painting)
- 3D printing in plastic (so-called enamel layers or fused deposition modelling® (short: FDM®); liquefaction and extrusion of wire-shaped thermoplastics (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene ABS, polycarbonate PC, PPSU polyphenylsulfone, foam-shaped lighter polyetherimide high-performance plastic Ultem) as well as wax materials heated by a movable nozzle in 0.025 - 0.7 - 1.25 mm thick layers; installation space of 200 x 200 x 305 mm up to 914 x 610 x 914 mm; followed by filling and decoration painting)
For the production of extremely complex contoured objects, we also use two alternative production methods:
- Selective laser sintering (SLS) in plastic (melting of monochrome powdery thermoplastics (polyamide PA, DuraForm®, DuraForm® GF) with laser beams; installation spaces up to 380 x 330 x 460 mm, followed by filling and painting)
- 3D stereo lithography (in short: STL or SLA; hardened by 0.05 - 0.25 mm thick light-sensitive plastic films (photopolymers or epoxy, SL 5170, SL 7510, SL 7810, SL 7840) by laser beams in a monomer base bath; installation spaces of 250 x 250 x 250 mm to 500 x 500 x 60 mm; final curing and finishing)
In association with our precision parts factories, we produce initial samples from solid and mechanically stressable materials on request in the shortest time:
- CNC high speed milling (x ≤ 1000 mm, y ≤ 800 mm, z ≤ 500 mm, 3000 – 42000 1/min, 0 – 30000 mm/min; materials made of plastic, graphite, aluminium, red bronze, brass, steel)
